YALCINER CONSULTING AND FOREIGN TRADE LTD.
YALCINER CONSULTING AND FOREIGN TRADE LTD. was established on May 2000
in Ankara in order to render consultancy services and training in technical
subjects and registration procedures for institutions or persons who have
activities in research and development fields and especially for the foreign and
domestic companies which have activities in intellectual and industrial property
rights issues.
Uđur G. YALÇINER
He was born in Trabzon in 1956. He was graduated from the department of
Mechanical Engineering in Middle East Technical University (METU) in 1979. He
completed his master’s degree in the same department as well. Between the years
1981-1994, he worked as university lecturer in the Faculty of Architecture in
METU.
Between the years 1986-1992, he performed in Turkey, Egypt and Ghana as the
advisor of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Between the years
1992-1994, he worked as the Head Industrial Property Department at the Ministry
of Industry and Trade. Between the years 1994-1999, he worked as the President
and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish Patent Institute. In 1995,
he was elected as the most successful bureaucrat of Turkey by “Economist” review.
Mr. YALCINER executed his commission as 2nd Vice-President of Vienna Agreement
Establishing an International Classification of the Figurative Elements of Marks
and as 1st Vice-President in Executive Committee of Paris Convention in WIPO.
In different times, he visited to European Patent Office, Eurasian Patent
Office and to Patent and Trademark Offices in USA, Spain, Benelux, Germany,
Russia, Bulgaria, England, Austria, Egypt, Ghana and France for study purposes.
Between the years 1992-1999, Mr. YALCINER worked as authorized person in the
name of Turkey in bilateral or multilateral conferences realized among
International Associations, International Institutions and different countries
in the field of Industrial Property Rights. At the General Meetings of World
Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), he executed The Presidency of Turkish
Delegation. He had an active mission throughout the preparation process of the
legislation of industrial property related to geographical signs, industrial
design, trademark and patent in Turkey. Mr. YALCINER attended about 20 Seminars,
Conferences and Symposiums as spokesperson in more than 10 foreign countries and
more than 300 in the country. Uđur G. YALÇINER has many publications composed of
more than 300 articles and 3 books. Mr. YALCINER is working as the partner of
YALCINER CONSULTING Company.
Gülden BAL
In 1991, Ms. BAL finished her studies in Economics Department of Anadolu
University. She started to work in Applied Researches Office of METU in 1978.
Later on, she continued her work in the Directorate of Research Development and
Application. Shorty after the establishment of Turkish Patent Institute, she has
been appointed as the Director of the President’s Office and Office of
Management Board of Turkish Patent Institute, in 1994. During this commission,
she has also worked as co-ordinator and member of the Re-examination and Re-evaluation
Board of Turkish Patent Institute. She has retired on 17 June 2000. At the
moment she is working as partner and General Director of YALÇINER CONSULTING AND
FOREIGN TRADE LTD. |
